East India Temples
Eastern part of India is well known for its ancient temples, shrines and pilgrimage places. In fact some of the most famous temples and religious places are situated in East India which represents different regional types of building architecture. These temples of east India not only represents the architecture style but also reflects the culture, beliefs, faith, and tradition of natives of eastern part of India. The most famous Hindu pilgrimage sites of east India are Puri and Konark, Puri is the land of Lost Jagannath and Konark is well known for the Sun temple.
